Washington, District of Columbia, United States, April 2025 – Sara Mejia has taken on a new role as Head of People at CoreX Corp. In her new position, Sara will lead the organization’s people strategy, focusing on workforce transformation, organizational development, employee engagement, and aligning talent initiatives with CoreX Corp’s mission to drive enterprise-wide ServiceNow transformations.
Before joining CoreX Corp, Sara Mejia served as Director of People Operations and Culture at MCRA, an IQVIA business, where she played a critical role in enhancing organizational design, improving operational effectiveness, and nurturing a culture of engagement and excellence across the organization.
Earlier, she was with Avantus Federal (now QinetiQ US) for nearly five years, where she first served as HR Business Partner & Benefits Lead and later advanced to HR Manager. During her tenure, she oversaw benefits management, employee relations, HR strategy development, and organizational support initiatives for a rapidly growing federal services organization.
Prior to that, she worked at AECOM as HR Lead for International Development, supporting international HR operations and leading employee relations investigations. Her work contributed to the successful management of global HR processes for development projects in complex international environments.
Sara also gained critical early experience at Aurora Flight Sciences, where she advanced from HR Intern to HR Specialist, supporting HR programs, employee onboarding, and talent acquisition efforts in the aerospace sector.
