Sarah Lambertson most recently founded The Hired Ground, a veteran female-founded recruitment firm in July 2024. The Hired Ground is dedicated to building exceptional teams for companies and founders, with a focus on aligning top-tier talent with the vision and culture of its clients. Sarah’s passion for effective and meaningful recruiting practices has already made an impact in the industry.
Prior to launching The Hired Ground, Sarah served as Technical Recruiting Manager at Roblox from July 2022 to June 2024, where she led a team of technical recruiters and sourcers to build Roblox’s User Engineering Group. Her work was integral in supporting Roblox’s mission to bring the world together through play by enabling the creation of immersive 3D experiences by a global community of developers.
Before her time at Roblox, Sarah was the Principal Technical, Product & Design Recruiter at Literati in Austin, Texas, where she built engineering, data science, product design, and product management teams. She was instrumental in helping Literati grow by igniting a love of learning and literature among readers of all ages.
Sarah also founded Sarah Lambertson Solutions in January 2019, providing technical recruitment consultancy services to VC and PE-backed startups. Her expertise in AI, data science, DevOps, and other technical areas has been highly sought after by startups looking to build industry-leading teams.
Earlier in her career, Sarah held roles such as Team Lead at Subspace, Head of Talent Acquisition at Mission Cloud, and Lead Technical Recruiter at ConSol Partners, where she consistently demonstrated her ability to lead recruitment efforts and build successful teams across various industries.
