Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom, March 2025 – Sarah Maratheftis has stepped into a new leadership role as Head of People Partnering at The Craneware Group, marking the next phase in her impactful journey with the healthcare technology company. In her new role, she will lead strategic people initiatives, focusing on aligning talent strategies with organizational objectives and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration across the group.
Sarah has been with The Craneware Group for more than five years, having most recently served as Head of People Operations. In this capacity, she oversaw the design and delivery of key people processes, including performance management, coaching frameworks, operations management, and business relationship strategies across global teams.

Before that, she worked as an HR Business Partner within the same organization, contributing to a period of significant growth and transformation by supporting performance and engagement initiatives.
Sarah also served as an HR Consultant and HR Assistant in Edinburgh, where she gained a deep understanding of agile HR practices in varied workplace contexts. Prior to returning to the UK, she spent over ten years at Thanos Hotels Group in Cyprus, progressing from HR Clerk to HR Officer, where she delivered high-volume recruitment strategies and was recognized for excellence in payroll execution.
Earlier in her career, Sarah held roles in marketing, lab supervision, and biotechnology across the UK. She holds a CIPD Level 3 Certificate in Human Resources Practice from Fife College.
