London, England, United Kingdom, September 2025 – NHS North West London has announced the appointment of Sarah Morgan as its new Chief People Officer. In this role, she will lead the people and culture agenda across the integrated care system, supporting the organization’s mission to improve the health and wellbeing of communities across the region.
Most recently, Sarah served as Chief People Officer at NHS North Central London Integrated Care System, where she spent over three years shaping people strategies to support healthcare delivery across the boroughs. Her work focused on workforce planning, leadership development, and improving staff engagement to meet the needs of both patients and employees.
Before that, Sarah spent more than seven years at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. She began as Director of Organisational Development, where she led initiatives in staff engagement, talent management, and organisational development. Later, she was appointed Director of the South East London ICS Workforce Programme, driving regional workforce planning and strategy during a period of complex healthcare transformation.
Earlier, Sarah was Head of the Dalton Review at the Department of Health and Social Care, where she acted as the national lead on examining how NHS provider organisations could improve quality and patient safety through new models of organisational structures. Prior to that, she held the role of Executive Director of Development at Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust, where she provided executive leadership for organisational and business development.
She also spent over five years at KPMG UK as an Associate Director in Health Advisory, where she specialised in whole-system redesign and integrated care, with a particular focus on mental health. Earlier in her career, she served as Assistant Divisional Manager – Surgery at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, where she was responsible for managing divisional operations.
