Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2025 – Biswajit Dash has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Group Corporate Communications at Kotak Mahindra Bank, marking a significant milestone in his professional journey. In his elevated role, he will continue to drive the corporate communications strategy across the group, strengthening the brand’s positioning and enhancing stakeholder engagement through impactful media, employee, and crisis communication initiatives.

For the past four years, Biswajit Dash served as Vice President – Group Corporate Communications at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he led the public relations and communications efforts for Kotak Securities and Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company. His work has been instrumental in reputation management, employee communications, and increasing media visibility across national and international platforms.

Prior to joining Kotak, he spent over five years at IDFC FIRST Bank as Associate Vice President – Corporate Communication, managing both internal and external communications, including leadership and investor communications. His ability to blend storytelling with business strategy enabled the bank to shape a strong brand narrative during its formative years.

Earlier, he held the role of Lead – Communications & Social Media at Reliance Industries Limited, where he contributed to corporate communication and online reputation management initiatives. His focus was on strategic media engagement and change management during a dynamic period for the organization.

Biswajit also played a pivotal role at Tata Motors as Manager – Communications & Social Media, where he led internal and external communications initiatives supporting major business transformation and behavior change programs.

He began his communications journey with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, rising to Deputy Manager – Corporate Communications, and successfully pioneered digital-first communication practices, including launching India’s first pharmaceutical alumni network and digitizing the sustainability report.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
