Dubai, United Arab Emirates, May 2025 — Sarah Tabet has been appointed as Head of HR – Middle East and Africa Hub at Siemens Energy, marking a significant elevation in her career within the global energy technology leader. With this appointment, she will now oversee human resources strategy and operations across a wider region, building on her successful leadership as Head of HR for the Middle East Hub.
Sarah brings over 18 years of progressive HR experience across the energy, industrial, and consumer sectors. Since joining Siemens Energy in March 2023, she has played a pivotal role in aligning people strategy with the company’s business transformation objectives. Her focus on talent development, diversity and inclusion, and leadership enablement has contributed to a more agile and inclusive organizational culture.
Before joining Siemens Energy, Sarah spent seven years at Schneider Electric, where she held several leadership positions, including Global HR Director and Diversity & Inclusion Leader, and HR Director for the Middle East. During this time, she provided strategic HR guidance across Europe, the U.S., India, and China, and led global transformation and culture-building initiatives.
Her earlier experience includes various roles at British American Tobacco, where she managed rewards strategy and compensation analysis across the Middle East and North Africa. She began her HR journey in 2007, working across performance management, recruitment, and organizational development in the Levant and GCC regions.
At Siemens Energy, Sarah will be responsible for driving the company’s HR agenda across the Middle East and Africa, with a sharp focus on talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, and embedding purpose-driven leadership to support the company’s mission of enabling a sustainable energy future.
