Dublin, Ireland, February 2026 — Sarah Walsh has started a new position as Head of Human Resources at Excel Recruitment, marking a significant leadership elevation after more than a decade of progressive HR responsibility within the recruitment and services sector.
In her new role, Sarah Walsh will lead the HR function at Excel Recruitment, supporting the organisation’s multi-divisional growth strategy while strengthening people practices across talent development, employee engagement, and organisational effectiveness. Her appointment reflects Excel Recruitment’s continued focus on building strong internal capability to support its expanding client and candidate ecosystem.
Prior to joining Excel Recruitment, Sarah spent nearly 15 years at KSG, where she progressed through multiple HR leadership roles. She most recently served as Human Resources Manager, following earlier responsibilities as HR Business Partner and HR Officer. Across this tenure, she played a central role in workforce planning, employee relations, HR policy implementation, and partnering with business leaders to support long-term organisational objectives.
Earlier in her career, Sarah gained foundational HR and people operations experience with O2 Ireland (Telefónica), where she supported people services operations, and began her HR journey as an HR Intern at Sanofi, contributing to diversity initiatives, employee development programs, and employer branding efforts. She also brings early career exposure from administrative and client-facing roles at Kelly Services, Corus, and Grafton Recruitment, providing her with a well-rounded understanding of recruitment, operations, and people support functions.
