New Delhi, India, March 2025 – Satish Sundaresan has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Lumax Auto Technologies Ltd, effective March 3, 2025. The company’s Board of Directors has designated him as Senior Management Personnel, recognizing his expertise in automotive electronics, mobility solutions, and emerging technologies. With over 24 years of leadership experience in both automotive and non-automotive sectors, he has previously held key positions at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, Infosys, Bosch India, and Reliance Industries Limited. His appointment is set to bolster Lumax Auto Technologies’ innovation strategy, particularly in advanced automotive solutions and connected mobility.
Before joining Lumax Auto Technologies, Sundaresan served as Chief Strategy Officer at Elektrobit India, where he led advancements in ADAS, cybersecurity, connected mobility, and automated driving technologies. His strategic direction positioned Elektrobit as a key player in software-defined vehicle technologies and autonomous driving solutions.
Prior to that, he was Vice President and Global Product Development Head – ADAS Validation at Elektrobit, leading global engineering teams in the development of autonomous driving validation solutions, hardware design, software/firmware development, and contract manufacturing. He also played a pivotal role in establishing Elektrobit’s R&D operations in India, contributing to global product development.
Earlier, he worked at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, where he led the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) division, spearheading semi-autonomous and intelligent driving solutions. He was instrumental in establishing India’s first IT shared services unit for Daimler and played a key role in automotive lighting technology development.
His extensive experience includes leadership roles at Infosys and Bosch India, where he managed automotive electronics, infotainment systems, and engineering teams catering to global clients. He also had an early career stint at Reliance Industries Limited, focusing on instrumentation and control systems.
