Gosport, England, June 2024 – Sean Scott has been appointed as the new Head of Human Resources at STS Defence. Sean brings a wealth of experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR strategy, making him well-suited to lead the HR function at STS Defence.

Sean has been with STS Defence for nearly three years, initially serving as the Head of Talent Acquisition. In this role, he was responsible for strategic talent acquisition, developing recruitment strategies, and partnering with senior executives to source and select top talent. Sean’s efforts contributed significantly to the growth and development of the company’s workforce.

Before joining STS Defence, Sean worked at RWS Group as a Talent Acquisition Specialist on a fixed-term contract. His focus was on connecting clients with global talent, leveraging technology-enabled solutions to enhance content management and intellectual property services.

Sean also spent nearly three years at STERIS as a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner – EMEA. Here, he managed strategic recruitment initiatives across the EMEA region, partnering with managers and senior executives to ensure the organization attracted and retained top talent.

Prior to his tenure at STERIS, Sean held various roles at Arqiva, including Talent Lead – Terrestrial Broadcast and P&O and Lead Recruiter – IT&C and Terrestrial Broadcast. He led recruitment campaigns, particularly focusing on ex-forces candidates interested in careers in broadcast and satellite engineering.

Sean’s earlier career includes roles at Lorien, Fusion People, AndersElite, CBSbutler, and Matchtech, where he specialized in recruitment across various sectors including aerospace, defense, civil, and structural engineering.
