Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, May 2024 – Shadab Saigal has started a new position as Executive Director – HR Controls Lead at Wells Fargo for India and the Philippines. Shadab brings a wealth of experience in HR controls, risk management, and operational excellence to his new role, where he will be responsible for overseeing HR controls and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Before joining Wells Fargo, Shadab worked at NatWest Group for over 17 years. His most recent role was Vice President – Risk and Controls People and Transformation. In this capacity, he developed and maintained the management and effective governance of operational risk, control risk assessments, top risk profile, KRI identification, monitoring and reporting, and issue management. He also led the Risk Committee, drove strategy and execution of the India 1st line operational risk and controls, and managed high-value external audits and senior stakeholder relationships globally. Shadab also played a pivotal role in implementing the Enterprise Risk Management framework in India and managing third-party risk.
Earlier in his career, Shadab served as a Quality Assurance Officer at ABN AMRO CENTRAL ENTERPRISES PVT LTD from March 2007 to March 2009. His responsibilities included updating QA processes, reviewing HR services processes, and preparing monthly/quarterly reports to various clients.
Shadab began his career at Wipro BPO as an Operations Team Leader from April 2005 to December 2006, where he focused on improving operational efficiency and managing team performance.
