Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, July 2026 — Amazon has promoted Shaitan Singh Bishnoi to Senior Human Resources Business Partner (L6), recognizing his contributions to driving strategic people initiatives and business-focused HR transformation. The promotion marks another significant milestone in his HR leadership journey, reflecting his impact in strengthening employee experience, talent management, organizational development, and workforce planning across Amazon India.
With over 10 years of experience in human resources, Shaitan has established a strong track record in HR business partnering, employee engagement, performance management, talent development, succession planning, HR analytics, organizational development, and employee relations. Throughout his career, he has partnered closely with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational objectives while fostering high-performance and inclusive workplace cultures.
Since joining Amazon in 2024 as HR Business Partner – People Experience Technology, Shaitan has led strategic HR initiatives supporting operations and business leaders. In this role, he has driven employee engagement through data-led programs, managed annual performance and talent review cycles, anchored HiPo identification and succession planning, strengthened workforce planning through HR analytics, resolved complex employee relations matters, and supported organizational change initiatives that enhance leadership capability and long-term business growth.
In his new role as Senior Human Resources Business Partner (L6), he will continue partnering with senior business leaders to shape people strategy, strengthen talent pipelines, accelerate leadership development, enhance workforce planning, and drive organizational effectiveness while supporting Amazon’s culture of customer obsession, innovation, and operational excellence.
Prior to Amazon, Shaitan served as HR Business Partner at Adani Group, where he supported multiple corporate functions including Corporate Communications, Branding, Media, Sports, ESG, Information Technology, Agriculture, and Business Development. He led end-to-end HR strategy for a workforce of approximately 1,000 employees, overseeing talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, HR analytics, leadership hiring, and workforce planning while contributing to enterprise-wide leadership development initiatives.
Earlier, he worked with Jio as Deputy Manager – Human Resources, partnering with business leaders supporting more than 1,500 employees across India in areas including employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, HR operations, grievance management, and retention. He began his corporate HR career with HCL Technologies, progressing from Senior Management Trainee – Human Resources to Associate Manager – Human Resources, where he gained extensive experience across talent acquisition, campus hiring, HR analytics, compensation, performance management, employee engagement, leadership development, and HR business partnering.
Shaitan holds an MBA in Human Resources from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), where he developed a strong foundation across strategic HR management, talent development, organizational behavior, employee relations, compensation, learning and development, and change management.
