Hyderabad, Telangana, India, August 2025 — Shameel Sharma has been appointed Managing Director of the Marriott Tech Accelerator (MTA), the Global Capability Center of Marriott International. In this critical leadership role, he will steer the organization’s digital transformation, operational scalability, and innovation strategy across Marriott’s global operations.
Shameel brings over two decades of expertise spanning enterprise transformation, global delivery models, and GCC operations. He most recently served as GCC and Business Transformation Consultant at QRATER, where he guided organizations in establishing high-performing, culturally aligned Global Capability Centers in India. Before that, as Managing Director – GCC and Interim CEO at Dibber, he led the rapid scale-up of the India operations, achieving over 50 team members in five months, zero attrition, and a stellar employee satisfaction score of 98%.
At Innova Solutions, Shameel played a pivotal role as Chief Operating and Human Resources Officer, scaling the enterprise from $1 billion to $3 billion and overseeing 3,500+ FTEs across multiple Indian cities. His leadership improved trust indices, reduced attrition from 33% to 22%, and earned the “Great Place to Work” certification for the organization from 2020–2023. Prior roles at Kantar Operations saw him transform offshore delivery centers and expand the workforce, boosting productivity and employee engagement across locations like Hyderabad, Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi.
With leadership experience across Microsoft, WNS, Concentrix, Sopra Steria, and early-career roles in hospitality at KLM Cargo, Le Méridien New Delhi, and Hilton, Shameel brings a unique blend of cross-industry insight and executional strength. He holds a Hotel Management diploma from IHM Pusa, completed the Senior Managers Program at IIM Calcutta, and earned a BA in Political Science and Government from Osmania University.
