Hyderabad, Telangana, India, March 2025 – Shameel Sharma has joined The Marriott Tech Accelerator (MTA), Marriott International’s Global Capability Center (GCC) in India, as Managing Director & Site Lead. In this role, he will lead operational transformation, technology-driven innovation, and customer experience strategies, ensuring MTA continues to be a critical enabler of Marriott International’s global success.
Prior to this, Shameel was a Business Consultant at QRATER, where he advised organizations on establishing, scaling, and transforming GCC operations in India. His expertise in compliance, infrastructure readiness, and operational excellence helped create high-performing workplaces recognized among Great Places to Work. Earlier, he served as Managing Director, GCC & Head of HR at Dibber, where he led the rapid expansion of Dibber’s India operations, scaling the team to 50 employees within five months while maintaining an impressive 98% employee satisfaction rate.
Shameel’s leadership journey also includes serving as COO & CHRO – India at Innova Solutions, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the company’s revenue from $1 billion to $3 billion through strategic acquisitions. Managing a P&L of $450 million, he implemented business transformation strategies that reduced attrition, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced compliance frameworks. His earlier leadership roles at Kantar Operations, Sopra Steria, and WNS further underscore his expertise in digital transformation, business optimization, and global delivery models.
