Dubai, United Arab Emirates, August 2025 – Shane George has taken on an expanded leadership role as Chief People Officer / SVP Europe / SVP Information Technology at AIR (Advanced Inhalation Rituals). In this multifaceted position, he will now spearhead AIR’s growth across Europe while continuing to lead the global People function and Information Technology initiatives.
Over the past three years at AIR, Shane has progressively expanded his scope of responsibilities. He initially joined as Chief People Officer, overseeing a global team of over 1,100 colleagues, and was instrumental in driving cultural transformation, building AIR’s organizational design, and advancing talent strategies. He later took on the role of SVP Information Technology, leading AIR’s IT transformation into a strategic business partner. His most recent elevation as SVP Europe adds operational leadership for AIR’s fastest-growing geography, reflecting his broad leadership capabilities and global impact.
Prior to joining AIR, Shane spent over 11 years at Reckitt, where he held several senior roles. As VP HR, North America Hygiene, he led HR strategy across the US and Canada and helped position Reckitt as a destination employer. Earlier, he served as VP, HR Operations, leading global HR shared services and systems. As HR Director, Business Transformation, he was instrumental in restructuring HR into a more strategic function and led the design and implementation of Reckitt’s captive shared services globally.
Before these leadership roles, Shane held pivotal positions including Director, Compensation and Benefits for Russia, Middle East, and Africa, and Global Compensation & Benefits Lead based in the UK. These roles involved managing compensation strategies across continents, implementing global reward systems, and enhancing governance structures. He began his Reckitt journey as a Compensation Analyst, where he managed benchmarking, job evaluations, and compensation analytics for North America, Australia, and New Zealand.
His early international experience and strategic HR leadership have enabled him to develop deep cross-functional expertise, spanning total rewards, HR transformation, talent management, and global operations. This has shaped him into a versatile HR leader capable of driving complex global agendas and delivering sustainable business impact.
