GUAYNABO, PUERTO RICO — Shaneiliz Mejías González has taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at Grupo Ferré Rangel, effective April 1st. González, who has been with the company for nearly two years, will now head the People team, aiming to bolster the company’s culture and values to enhance employee engagement and professional development.
González’s journey at Grupo Ferré Rangel began as Director of Total Rewards & HR Operations, before quickly ascending to Senior Director HR Operations, Talent & Total Rewards, a role she held for seven months. Her rapid rise within the company reflects her commitment to leveraging her extensive experience to drive key HR initiatives.
Prior to joining Grupo Ferré Rangel, González was a Senior HR Compensation and Performance Delivery Manager at ABB, where she managed a substantial team overseeing compensation, benefits, and retirement plans for over 29,000 employees in the US and Puerto Rico. Her strategic leadership significantly enhanced the operational efficiency and employee satisfaction at ABB.
Before ABB, she served as the Senior Compensation & Benefits Leader for the Americas at GE, where she directed compensation and benefits for 7,000 associates across several countries, managing a substantial benefits budget and ensuring compliance with various regulatory standards.
González also held key roles at HUB International as Shared Services Manager- Benefits & Compliance, where she led COBRA Administration and Benefits Compliance, and at The Loyalty Management Group as Benefits Administration Supervisor, managing a diverse portfolio of compensation and benefits programs.
