With a strong background in instructional design, AI-driven learning, and strategic consulting, Smith brings extensive experience in developing transformative learning programs.
Prior to this role, Smith served as Director of Learning & Design at IC Axon, where she was instrumental in shaping learning strategies, integrating AI into instructional methodologies, and driving engagement through innovative training solutions. Before joining IC Axon, she held leadership positions at BCL and Bull City Blue, where she oversaw technology-enabled learning, instructional design, and client-focused learning initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Smith worked with Grifols, BASF, and PRA Health Sciences, where she developed technical training programs, e-learning solutions, and instructional methodologies that enhanced workforce capabilities. Additionally, she gained valuable experience in IT training and leadership development during her tenure in the U.S. Army, managing technology-driven learning solutions for large-scale operations.
With a Ph.D. in Instructional Design from National University and a Master’s in Distance Education & E-Learning from the University of Maryland Global Campus, Smith combines academic excellence with practical expertise in learning transformation and curriculum innovation.
