San Francisco, California, United States, November 2025 — Shashank Bhushan has been appointed as Head HR, Americas & Global People Partner at Amagi, marking an important milestone in his global HR leadership journey. In this expanded role, he is driving the people strategy for the Americas while partnering closely with global leadership teams to enhance organizational culture, strengthen leadership capability, and build scalable talent frameworks aligned with Amagi’s global expansion. He also continues to play a pivotal role in M&A people initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and long-term organizational alignment.
Immediately before this appointment, Shashank served as Chief Consultant – CHRO at The Talent Architects, where he advised CEOs and founders on HR transformation, workforce planning and culture-building strategies. His consulting work focused on designing scalable people systems, strengthening leadership impact, and helping high-growth businesses align HR priorities with evolving strategic needs. In this capacity, he has been recognized for his ability to provide enterprise-level advisory and architect people systems that accelerate business performance.
Prior to this, Shashank spent over thirteen years at BMC Software, where he progressed to become Vice President Human Resources & Chief Talent Architect. In this role, he led global efforts to define the talent lifecycle and championed future-skills development, leadership capability, and innovation-driven culture. Earlier as Vice President Human Resources, he spearheaded HR and site operations across India and the Asia Pacific region, leading a large HR team and contributing significantly to making BMC one of the most admired employers in the technology sector.
Before joining BMC Software, Shashank spent more than six years at IBM, where he held senior HR leadership roles across business partnering and M&A. As Country Leader for Mergers & Acquisitions, he successfully led multiple large-scale, end-to-end M&A engagements and contributed to shaping IBM’s integration strategy in India. His early leadership roles at ITC Infotech, Kvaerner Process, and BPL Ltd. further strengthened his foundation across HR transformation, PeopleSoft implementation, business partnering, and large-scale talent operations.
The early years of Shashank’s career established his grounding in HR systems, operations, and transformation across technology, engineering, and diversified business environments. Over time, he has emerged as a global HR leader known for his strategic foresight, deep expertise in talent architecture, cultural transformation, and his ability to build resilient, innovation-driven people systems across multiple geographies.
