India, February 2026 — Ashish Banka has started a new position as Vice President & Head – Human Resources at Algoworks, where he will lead the people and culture agenda across geographies. In this role, he will drive strategic HR initiatives aligned with business growth and transformation, with a focus on talent strategy, leadership development, organizational design, change management, and strengthening the employee value proposition (EVP). He will also oversee global HR operations spanning talent acquisition, performance and rewards, employee engagement, and capability building to support scaling and long-term organizational success.
In this expanded leadership mandate at Algoworks, Ashish Banka will work closely with business leaders and stakeholders to build a high-performance culture and scalable HR systems that enable growth across global markets. His charter emphasizes operational excellence through strong people practices, consistent governance, and a future-ready talent approach.
Prior to Algoworks, he spent about three and a half years with Cradlewise as Global Head – Talent Acquisition and HRBP, where he led end-to-end talent and culture initiatives during a high-growth phase, helping scale the organization significantly while strengthening people systems, engagement, and diversity efforts.
Before that, Ashish Banka served around a year at Delhivery as Director – Talent Acquisition and HRBP, contributing to large-scale workforce growth, HRBP leadership across diverse verticals, and people programs aligned with major business milestones and transformation priorities.
Earlier in his career, he built deep operating experience across people and talent leadership roles with Compass Group (as Assistant General Manager – TA & HRBP), Reliance Retail, Qatar Airways (as Country HR Manager – HRBP & Talent Acquisition), Voltas Limited (A Tata Group Company), and Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)—strengthening his foundation in HR operations, talent acquisition, employee relations, and multi-location workforce leadership.
Alongside his corporate leadership track, Ashish Banka has also taken on an advisory responsibility as Advisor – CRC & Training Development at SAGE University Ind, contributing to academia-industry alignment through employability-focused interventions, training development, and career readiness initiatives.
