Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, May 2026 – Katie Donohue has joined Otis Elevator Co. as Vice President, Global Compensation, bringing extensive expertise in global rewards strategy, executive compensation, and organizational performance alignment.
Her appointment comes at a pivotal time for Otis, as the company continues to focus on growth, service excellence, and modernization, guided by its purpose, “Made to move you™.”
Katie Donohue brings over three decades of experience in compensation strategy and total rewards leadership. Prior to joining Otis Elevator Co., she founded AlignRewards, where she advised organizations on designing compensation and recognition programs aligned with business performance and employee engagement.
Before that, she spent nearly two decades at Medtronic, where she held multiple senior leadership roles including Vice President – Commercial Compensation, Recognition & M&A and Vice President – Global Compensation. In these roles, she led enterprise-wide compensation strategies for a global workforce of over 95,000 employees across 80+ countries, managed incentive budgets exceeding $1 billion, and played a key role in major M&A integrations and global transformation initiatives.
Earlier in her career, she served as a Compensation and M&A Consultant at Aon Hewitt, where she advised Fortune 100 and 500 organizations on executive compensation, governance, and reward strategies, building a strong foundation in strategic HR advisory.
Katie holds an MBA from DePaul Driehaus College of Business.
