Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 – API Holdings has appointed Shashi Tiwari as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. In this strategic leadership role, he will lead people strategy across API Holdings’ healthcare portfolio, focusing on organisational capability building, talent transformation, and fostering a future-ready, people-first culture aligned with business outcomes. His appointment reflects API Holdings’ commitment to strengthening people strategy as a core pillar of organizational success.
Shashi brings over two decades of HR leadership experience across global organisations, including Infosys and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, where he has led large-scale HR transformations spanning global rewards, talent, performance, HR technology, and innovation ecosystems.

In his current role at API Holdings, Shashi is responsible for leading people strategy across the group’s digital healthcare ecosystem, strengthening leadership pipelines, enabling organisational transformation, and shaping a future-ready, people-first culture across multiple businesses.
Prior to this, he spent over a decade with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, most recently as Senior Vice President – Human Resources, where he led HR for the Global R&D Organization, Innovation businesses, and Centres of Excellence spanning Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Compliance, and DEI. Earlier, he served as Vice President – Human Resources and Vice President – Performance & Rewards, leading global HR technology, performance, and rewards transformation initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Shashi spent nearly nine years at Infosys, where he held multiple global compensation and benefits leadership roles across APAC, EMEA, and global subsidiaries. His work spanned global compensation design, mobility policies, large-scale HR integrations, shared services scaling, and HR digital transformation initiatives across more than 30 countries.
He began his professional journey at TNT, where he was part of the startup team for the Indian road logistics network.
Shashi holds a PGDM in Management from SCMHRD.
