Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2025 – Shilpa Kulkarni Dang has taken on the role of Country Head – HR (India) at Weatherford, a leading global energy services company. In her new position, she will lead HR strategy and execution across Weatherford’s India operations, driving talent alignment, transformation, and organizational effectiveness in a dynamic and evolving sector.

With an impressive track record in human resources and organizational development, Shilpa brings a wealth of experience in strategic HR leadership, talent management, DEI, and digital transformation to her new role.

Over the past 1.5 years, Shilpa served as Senior Vice President – Human Resources at Ampersand Group, where she led strategic HR initiatives including employee lifecycle management, succession planning, performance management, and organizational effectiveness. Her contributions were pivotal in designing and implementing forward-thinking HR frameworks aligned with business growth.

Prior to that, she spent close to four years at Bureau Veritas Group as General Manager – HR (CIF – SAR), where she led HR operations for India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. Her leadership in driving DEI, L&D, and strategic organizational development initiatives played a crucial role in Bureau Veritas being recognized as a “Best Organization for Women” by The Economic Times in 2022.

Shilpa also held significant leadership roles at Ajmal Perfumes, where over a six-year tenure she led pan-India HR strategy and operations across corporate, sales, and manufacturing. Her efforts resulted in substantial improvements in performance, customer satisfaction, and workforce integration post-acquisition and expansion.

Earlier in her career, she built extensive HR expertise through impactful roles at organizations including Violet Arch Capital Advisors, Medley Pharmaceuticals, Bristol Myers Squibb, HDFC Securities, and Welingkar Institute of Management, bringing the cumulative depth of over two decades of HR experience across industries including pharma, BFSI, manufacturing, and education.
