Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 – Shipra Saraf has joined Microsoft as Head of HR Consulting for India and South Asia, bringing with her a remarkable legacy of driving large-scale HR transformation, strategic people leadership, and business partnering across the region. In her new role, Shipra will lead Microsoft’s HR consulting agenda, guiding organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and leadership development to further empower Microsoft’s teams and business units across South Asia.
Prior to Microsoft, Shipra Saraf was Head HR for India at Kenvue, where she led the HR function for three years, steering people strategy and employee experience for the India organization. Her earlier tenure at Johnson & Johnson spanned nearly a decade, with significant leadership roles including Head HR – Supply Chain & Data Science, HR Head – Shared Services, HR Analytics & Enterprise L&D, and HR Lead – Workforce Analytics and Special Projects.
At J&J, Shipra managed end-to-end HR for complex, matrixed businesses and played a key role in organizational design, culture transformation, and strategic HR delivery.
Her foundational HR consulting experience was built at EY, where she rose from Consultant to Senior Consultant in the People & Organization Practice, driving transformation projects and advising clients across industries. Shipra’s educational foundation is equally impressive, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations (PMIR) from XLRI Jamshedpur.
