Hyderabad, Telangana, India, February 2026 — The Hartford has announced that Shiv Shankar Bose has started a new role as Senior Director | Head – GCC HR Operations | HCM Applications | Compliance and Controls. Based in Hyderabad, Shiv will lead critical global capability center (GCC) responsibilities spanning HR operations delivery, HCM applications, compliance governance, and controls, strengthening enterprise-wide HR service reliability, process excellence, and technology-enabled people operations.
With strong experience across global HR operations, HR technology, Workday-enabled service delivery, compliance, and large-scale HR service transformation, Shiv brings deep expertise in building stable, scalable, and high-performing HR operating models across multinational environments.
Prior to joining The Hartford, Shiv Shankar Bose spent over 5 years at Novartis in Hyderabad as Senior Manager – People Services & Technology Solutions. In this role, he led people services and technology solutions for 14 full-scope big markets and 42 partial-scope countries, supporting large multi-country HR service delivery models and enabling HR technology execution at scale.
Before Novartis, Shiv served at Accenture as General Manager for a brief tenure, working on Interactive Technology Operations for the “Hire to Retire” employee life cycle, strengthening his experience in global HR service operations and HR technology-driven delivery transformation.
Earlier, he worked with Cargill for nearly 1.5 years as HR Operations Lead – South Asia, based in Bengaluru. In this role, he managed captive HR operations across India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal, served as payroll owner for South Asian countries, and led key statutory and compliance responsibilities for Cargill India plants and business services.
Shiv also spent over 8 years with Capgemini as Senior Manager – HR Services, serving as the HRO Engagement Leader for the Hire-to-Retire employee lifecycle, driving service delivery performance, engagement governance, and operational excellence in HR shared services environments.
Earlier in his career, he worked with Aon Hewitt for nearly 7 years as HR Operations Manager in Gurugram, managing hire-to-retire service delivery and transitions for large markets in the USA, building strong foundational expertise in global HR outsourcing and HR service delivery operations.
