Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 – Shiva Raj Mehra has been promoted to Senior Vice President & Head – Automotive OEM Business at Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited, further cementing his leadership in the automotive lubricant sector. In his new role, Shiva will continue to steer the OEM business across India, leveraging Gulf Oil’s strategic partnerships with over 20 leading OEMs and expanding its footprint in both domestic and international markets.
Shiva has been an integral part of Gulf Oil India for over seven years, previously serving as Vice President & Head – Automotive OEM Business. His tenure has been marked by sustained growth in the OEM vertical, driving strategic alliances, profitability, and market leadership in the B2B segment.
Before joining Gulf Oil, Shiva served for nearly six years at PETRONAS Lubricants India, where he led the B2B vertical for India and Southeast Asia, overseeing OEM, industrial, and modern trade businesses. His leadership helped expand PETRONAS’ market penetration and profitability across multiple regions.
Earlier in his career, Shiva held pivotal roles at Pidilite Industries, Indus Towers, and Castrol India Limited, including as National Key Account Manager – OEM and Brand Manager – Agri OE & Diesel. At Castrol, he managed key OEM relationships such as TATA, Mahindra, Toyota, and Bajaj Auto, building strategic alliances across India.
Shiva began his career at Gillette (GDOPL), where he was Professional Relations Incharge – East, successfully launching and expanding specialty oral care products across East India and Nepal. His early experiences provided a strong foundation in market development and professional engagement.
