Edward Francis Paul Begins Founding Chapter as Chief People & Compliance Officer at The Meat Box

Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, December 2025 – Edward Francis Paul has embarked on a new entrepreneurial journey as Founding Member and Chief People & Compliance Officer at The Meat Box, a purpose-driven premium farm-to-fork brand redefining ethically raised meat consumption in India. In this pivotal role, Edward is shaping a people-first culture, embedding regulatory excellence, and steering the HR and compliance architecture for sustainable growth and trust.

Before joining The Meat Box, Edward Francis Paul undertook freelance HR consulting assignments, partnering with multiple organizations across sectors on strategic HR interventions. His advisory work during this time enabled businesses to navigate transformation journeys with agility and talent focus.

Previously, he served as Regional Director HR – Asia Pacific at Travel + Leisure Co. (RCI), where he led HR across India, Singapore, Australia, and the Philippines. His contributions included launching global HR dashboards, implementing hybrid work models, and building a high-performing remote workforce. He also played a key role in forming Centres of Excellence and delivering cost-effective, people-centric HR strategies.

Prior to that, Edward was Head – People & Productivity at Lithium Urban Technologies, where he transformed the HR operating model by introducing data-driven practices, a new performance management system, and an HRIS. His leadership contributed to a 33% increase in engagement and a culture of performance.

Spanning nearly six years at Exide Life Insurance, Edward held several leadership roles, including National Head HR – Talent Acquisition & Corporate Functions, and General Manager HR. His focus was on enabling inclusive hiring, workforce planning, sales force alignment, and talent development strategies.

Earlier in his career, he held key HR roles at ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and Hyundai Motor India, where he was instrumental in building strong HR delivery models and driving policy innovations. His educational foundation includes a PGDBM from Loyola Institute of Business Administration and executive education from IIM Bangalore.
