Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2025 – Shruti Tewari has been appointed as Executive Director – HR and Employee Experience at JPMorganChase, where she will lead strategic initiatives to enhance the employee experience, drive talent management strategies, and oversee HR functions. Shruti’s expertise in HR transformation and employee engagement is set to contribute significantly to the organization’s efforts to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Shruti brings over two years of experience at JPMorganChase, where she has played a critical role in talent management and employee engagement. Most recently, she served as the Global Lead for Cohort Program Management, overseeing onboarding, placements, and orientation efforts across the US and India. Before that, as India Lead for Cohort Program Management, Shruti successfully streamlined processes to ensure seamless talent integration. Earlier, she held the position of Vice President – HR; Employee Digital and Service Experience, driving digital transformation and employee engagement initiatives.
Prior to joining JPMorganChase, Shruti worked at Darwinbox, where she held leadership roles such as Region Head – West India and Director – Enterprise Accounts. During her tenure, she spearheaded strategic initiatives that drove growth and adoption of the HR technology platform across enterprise clients.
Shruti’s career spans over a decade at EY, where she served in various roles within the People Advisory Services practice. As a Senior Manager, she was recognized as a “D&I Role Model” for her efforts in promoting diversity and inclusion. Her prior roles as Manager, Senior Consultant, and Consultant saw her lead key projects in HR strategy, policy revisions, and client satisfaction, earning her multiple awards for excellence.
She began her career as an Associate Software Engineer at IBM India Software Labs, where she contributed to Java-based technology solutions. Shruti also interned with Aditya Birla Group in the Rewards and Benefits portfolio, gaining valuable experience in compensation analysis and policy development.
