Delhi, India, – November 2024 – Havas India has appointed Shweta Rathee as its new Vice President, where she will lead strategic initiatives and drive growth across key accounts. In her new role, Shweta will leverage her extensive experience in sales and brand alliances to expand Havas India’s footprint in the industry, fostering innovative solutions and strengthening client relationships.
Before joining Havas India, Shweta was the Sales Director at ELLE Magazine for nearly six years, where she played a pivotal role in brand development and revenue generation, overseeing strategic partnerships and high-impact advertising initiatives. Prior to ELLE, she served as President of Revenues and Brand Alliances at Songdew, a platform for independent artists, where she established sonic solutions for brands, expanding revenue streams and brand collaborations.
In her tenure as National Vertical Head at Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times of India), Shweta led a team of 30 across 14 centers, spearheading revenue generation for major publications and creating integrated advertising solutions. Her background also includes roles at zoOm Entertainment Network and Sony Pictures Networks India, where she honed her skills in team leadership and strategic sales planning.
Her career journey began with roles at Star India and The Asian Age, where she established her expertise in sales strategy, client relations, and media innovation.
