Boston, Massachusetts, United States, November 2025 – Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete LLP, one of the nation’s largest labor and employment law firms, has announced the appointment of Silvio J. Talarico as its new Chief Financial Officer. With a proven record of driving operational excellence, fiscal discipline, and digital transformation across prominent legal organizations, Silvio will lead Constangy’s financial strategy as the firm continues to scale its national footprint and reinforce its Tier 1 position in U.S. labor and employment law.

Before joining Constangy, Silvio Talarico served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Harris Beach Murtha, where he strengthened financial controls, optimized resource allocation, and enhanced reporting processes to support the firm’s long-term growth. His leadership contributed significantly to improving operational efficiency and financial transparency across multi-state offices.

Prior to that, he held the position of Executive Director at Sunstein LLP, where he led strategic financial management, budgeting, and firm-wide performance metrics. At Sunstein, Silvio was instrumental in implementing systems that elevated client service delivery, revenue analysis, and stakeholder management while championing digital transformation initiatives in legal operations.

Earlier in his career, Silvio spent nearly seven years as Executive Director at MG+M The Law Firm, where he managed firmwide operations, financial planning, and business growth strategies. His data-driven approach to performance management and operational efficiency was pivotal in ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.

Previously, Silvio also served as Chief Operating Officer at Rosenn Jenkins & Greenwald LLP, overseeing financial performance, tax planning, and administrative leadership for nearly a decade. Before that, he held senior financial roles at leading firms such as Frost Brown Todd, Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP, and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, where he established a reputation for strong fiscal governance, resource optimization, and people-focused leadership.

In addition to his corporate roles, Silvio has been an active investor in various e-commerce ventures, showcasing his entrepreneurial mindset and acumen in digital business transformation — an experience that complements his leadership within the professional services sector.

Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership.
