Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands, June 2025 – Sivan Maron has been appointed as Group Chief Human Resources Officer at ASA International, a global microfinance leader committed to empowering low-income female entrepreneurs across Asia and Africa. In her new role, Sivan will oversee global people strategy, talent development, and culture transformation for an organization operating in 13 countries and serving over 2.4 million clients.
Before joining ASA International, Sivan Maron served for over six years at Unilever in increasingly senior HR leadership roles. Most recently, as Ice Cream HR Lead for Europe & Australia and New Zealand, she led HR delivery and organizational culture for multiple countries, driving agile talent management, cross-cultural collaboration, and innovative people strategies. Sivan previously served as Global HR Lead, playing a pivotal role in aligning HR and business goals across Israel, Rotterdam, and the Middle East. She was instrumental in talent mobility, workforce planning, leadership development, and delivering organizational change through digital tools and analytics, achieving high employee satisfaction rates and a robust performance culture.
Earlier in her career, Sivan was HRBP: Finance, R&D, UFS at Unilever in Israel, where she led the HR function for key business units and implemented learning and talent strategies. She ensured operational excellence across employee engagement, talent management, compliance, and performance management, earning a reputation for action-oriented leadership and stakeholder influence.
Prior to Unilever, Sivan held HR leadership roles at abra (Herolo), where she built the HR infrastructure and led talent acquisition for a tech-driven organization, and at APM, Agiv Professional Manpower LTD, where she managed a recruitment company specializing in the high-tech sector. Her early career included business development at Nestlé Nespresso, department leadership at Channel 2 News, and lecturing in communications and PR.
Sivan holds an MBA in Human Resources Management and Services from Ono Academic College.
