Dubai, United Arab Emirates, May 2025 – Siwar Zein has stepped into an expanded global role as International Talent Management Director – EMEA, Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China at Microsoft. In this newly broadened leadership mandate, she will now oversee strategic talent development and leadership pipelines across some of the world’s most dynamic and diverse regions.
Siwar brings nearly six years of impactful HR leadership at Microsoft, having served as EMEA Talent Management Director, MEA Talent Director and Area HQ HR Leader, and HR Director for Levant & Africa Multi-Country Cluster. During her tenure, she has built strong talent benches, promoted high-potential talent from within, and attracted top external leadership to drive transformation across geographies.
Prior to Microsoft, Siwar spent over nine years at Nestlé, where she held roles such as Head of Talent & Development for the Middle East and HR Business Partner for Kuwait, leading initiatives in leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and regional capability building across 13 countries.
Her earlier experiences also include serving as an Adjunct Instructor of Leadership at the American University in Dubai, Life Coach with the Co-Active Training Institute, and Junior HR Business Partner at Barclays.
Siwar holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and Organizational Analysis from King’s College London, reinforcing her academic grounding in global HR strategy and organizational effectiveness.
