Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, February 2026 — Sonam Tyagi has started a new position as Head of Human Resources at Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH). In this role, she will lead the institute’s HR function, supporting organizational effectiveness and people strategy within one of India’s leading management institutions.
Before joining BIMTECH, Sonam Tyagi served as Human Resource Manager at Sparsh Group of Educational Institutions, where she managed HR operations within an academic ecosystem and contributed to strengthening institutional HR processes.
Earlier, she worked as Human Resources Manager at Sharda University, gaining significant experience in strategic human resource planning and HR strategy in the higher education sector, supporting workforce development and institutional growth.
Prior to that, she was Manager Human Resources at Ramagya Group, where she handled a wide spectrum of HR responsibilities including grievance management, HR audits, employee engagement initiatives, recruitment coordination, onboarding, documentation, and MIS reporting for a large employee base.
She began her HR career with Lovely Professional University as a Human Resources Officer, building foundational experience in academic HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
