New Delhi, Delhi, India, April 2026 — Disha Gupta has been promoted to Associate Director – HR at KPMG India, marking an important milestone in her human resources leadership journey. This promotion reflects her growing contribution to talent strategy, campus engagement, and recruitment leadership, while reinforcing the confidence the organization has placed in her ability to support its evolving people agenda.
Before this promotion, Disha Gupta served as Manager at KPMG India in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. In that role, she led business school campus relations, campus branding, recruitment, and engagement initiatives. She specialized in cultivating relationships with key university stakeholders, tailoring recruitment strategies, delivering pre-placement talks, nurturing partnerships with placement cells, and identifying top talent through market intelligence to build a strong future talent pipeline.
Earlier at KPMG India, she held the role of Assistant Manager, continuing to strengthen her expertise in recruitment and talent engagement. Her progression within the organization from Assistant Manager to Manager and now to Associate Director – HR reflects a strong internal growth journey and her expanding impact within the HR function.
Prior to joining KPMG India, Disha Gupta worked with HCL Technologies as Deputy Manager, where she served as the Engineering School Pan India Lead and managed campus relations, hiring, and branding strategies. She was also responsible for managing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) initiative for specialized hiring and served as Program Manager for the Work Integrated Learning Program (WILP) at the corporate level. This role added valuable experience in large-scale campus hiring and strategic academic partnerships.
Before that, she was associated with IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd), where she served as Assistant Manager and Senior Executive in Gurugram, Haryana, India. At IndiGo, she managed the recruitment process for both ab initio and experienced pilots, from screening to onboarding, and supported talent attraction through roadshows and seminars. She also worked as an HR Business Partner dedicated to cadet pilots, helping manage their journey from onboarding to training progression. Earlier in her career, she worked with HCL Technologies as Senior Executive and HR Management Trainee, and also interned with HCL Infosystems Ltd, building a strong foundation in HR operations and talent management.
