Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 — Soni Mishra appointed as Head of Talent Acquisition (Centre of Excellence) at Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pvt Ltd (ABMCPL) . In this role, she will lead group-wide talent acquisition strategies, focusing on building leadership and niche talent pipelines, strengthening employer branding, driving campus engagement, and enabling strategic workforce planning to prepare the conglomerate for the future of work.
Soni has been with the Aditya Birla Group for more than six years, most recently at Aditya Birla Chemicals, where she served as Business HR Lead (BCOE) – Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Acquisition, Campus & Employer Branding. Before this, she held key leadership roles as Deputy General Manager – HR and Assistant General Manager – HR, contributing to people strategy, talent management, and organizational capability-building initiatives.
Prior to her tenure with the Group, she was with YES BANK as Assistant Vice President – HR Business Partner, managing diverse HR functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, and strategic HR programs. She earlier worked at Reliance Power Ltd for six years as Corporate HR Manager, where she oversaw HR operations, talent acquisition, expat recruitment, and learning & development.
Soni began her career at Omam Consultants as an HR Consultant, followed by an internship with HDFC Life, where she gained early exposure to HR operations and recruitment.
Soni holds an MBA from Xavier Institute of Social Service, which has provided her with a strong foundation in human resources and organizational development.
