With nearly a decade of experience in corporate, brand, and capital market communications, Soumitra brings extensive expertise in reputation management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic storytelling. His appointment comes at a time when ShareChat continues to expand its community engagement and solidify its position as India’s foremost platform for regional-language content and creator empowerment.
Before joining ShareChat, Soumitra served at MSL India, where he managed communications strategies for clients across fintech, consumer tech, global payments, and regulated sectors. His campaigns—such as “From HomeRenting to HomeBuying” for CREDAI—won recognition at The Economic Times Kaleido Awards and SABRE South Asia Awards, highlighting his creative leadership and results-driven approach.
Earlier, Soumitra worked with Ruder Finn India, Edelman, BVK Sports, and ARTSMITH – Concepts & Visions, where he led impactful media and public relations campaigns across sports, lifestyle, and technology sectors. His work included communications for major sporting events, federations, and consumer brands, shaping narratives that connected with both traditional and digital audiences.
