Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India, November 2025 — Soumya Ranjan Munda has joined Finova Capital as Regional Head – People & Culture | Talent Acquisition & Talent Management | East, bringing with him extensive experience in talent strategy, HR business partnering, capability development, and people leadership. In his new role, Soumya will lead People & Culture initiatives across the Eastern region, focusing on strengthening talent pipelines, enhancing employee experience, and driving HR interventions that support Finova Capital’s growth across deeper regional markets.
Prior to joining Finova Capital, Soumya served as Regional Manager – HR, Consumer Banking at IndusInd Bank, where he led HR strategy across Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh. He played a key role in sales workforce hiring, leadership enablement, performance development, and regional talent planning. His work enabled scalable HR operations aligned with business growth priorities in high-growth markets.
Before IndusInd Bank, Soumya worked at Fusion Finance Ltd as Manager – HRBP, and earlier as Deputy Manager HRBP, where he partnered closely with business teams, implemented HR analytics frameworks, drove talent development programs, and supported organizational expansion across multiple geographies.
He began his HR career with roles at Toppr, Vistaar Financial Services, Home Credit India, and HDFC Life, gaining strong foundations in HR operations, employee lifecycle management, regional recruitment strategies, and field-force engagement — all of which positioned him to build people-centered growth cultures across diverse and distributed workforces.
