Dallas, TX, USA, August 21, 2024 — Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) has announced the appointment of Tim Lyon as Vice President Pricing. In his new role, Lyon will focus on enhancing the airline’s yield and pricing discipline. With over two decades of experience in the airline industry, Lyon will oversee Southwest’s Pricing Department and collaborate closely with other business units responsible for Revenue Management and Sales.

Prior to joining Southwest, Lyon served as Managing Director of Domestic Pricing at both American Airlines and US Airways, bringing valuable experience in pricing strategies to his new role.
