Barath Narayanan S S, Global Head of BFSI Unit and Head – Europe Region at Persistent Systems, highlighted Sinha’s extensive domain expertise and strong track record of building long-term executive relationships across the BFSI sector. In her new role, she will lead Persistent’s efforts to expand and strengthen partnerships with BFSI GCCs, which are increasingly becoming innovation and transformation hubs for global financial institutions.

Sinha joins Persistent Systems from Wipro, where she served as General Manager and Sales Leader – BFSI, leading strategic client portfolios for the company’s India BFSI business. Her responsibilities included business planning, strategy formulation, P&L management, CXO relationship development, transformational deal pursuits, alliance partnerships, and go-to-market initiatives.

Prior to Wipro, she spent more than 24 years at Infosys, where she held several leadership positions across sales, client relationships, account management, delivery, and business transformation. Most recently, she served as Senior Director and Client Relationships – GCC Business Head, leading sales strategy and business growth for financial services and capital markets GCCs across India and the APAC region. She was responsible for large deal pursuits, new account development, revenue growth, GCC strategy, executive governance, and building high-performance teams.

Earlier at Infosys, Sinha served as Director – Client Relationships, where she managed sales and business development across financial services GCCs, delivering transformational engagements spanning software services, digital transformation, cloud, modernization, data, API-led architectures, and business operations.

With over 27 years of experience spanning sales leadership, digital transformation, financial services technology, GCC strategy, business development, client relationship management, and enterprise modernization, Sinha brings a unique blend of industry knowledge and execution expertise to Persistent Systems.

Her appointment comes at a time when India-based GCCs are playing an increasingly important role in driving innovation, technology transformation, and operational excellence for global banking and financial institutions.
