Mumbai, India, June 2026 – Ion Exchange India Ltd has appointed Ashish Vyas as Associate Vice President – Human Resources (AVP-HR), strengthening its people leadership team as the company continues to expand its presence in water treatment, environmental solutions, and sustainability-focused businesses.
Vyas brings more than 15 years of experience in human resources, business partnering, talent management, organizational development, employee relations, workforce planning, and HR transformation across engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, and project-driven organizations.
Prior to joining Ion Exchange India Ltd, he served as Joint General Manager at Praj HiPurity Systems, where he played a key role in driving HR initiatives and supporting business growth. During his tenure, he worked closely with business leaders to strengthen talent capabilities, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and people processes in a highly specialized engineering environment.
Before Praj HiPurity Systems, Vyas spent over five years with Tata Projects as Human Resources Business Partner, supporting large-scale infrastructure and project businesses. In this role, he partnered with business leaders on talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development initiatives aligned with business objectives.
A management graduate with an MBA in Human Resource Management from Sinhgad Institute of Management, Vyas has built extensive experience in aligning people strategies with business priorities while supporting organizational growth and operational excellence.
In his new role as AVP – Human Resources, he will be responsible for supporting the organization’s people agenda, strengthening talent management practices, enhancing employee engagement, driving leadership and capability development initiatives, and supporting workforce strategies aligned with the company’s long-term growth objectives.
His appointment comes at a time when organizations across the environmental and water management sectors are increasingly investing in talent, innovation, and organizational capabilities to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
