Srinivas A G Appointed as Chief People Officer at Manipal Payment and Identity Solutions Ltd

Udupi, Karnataka, India, June 2025 – Manipal Payment and Identity Solutions Ltd (MPi) has announced the appointment of Srinivas A G as its new Chief People Officer. In his expanded role, Srinivas will act as a strategic business partner to the CEO and CXO team, supporting global expansion efforts, leadership transitions, talent strategies, and cultural alignment across MPi’s rapidly growing international operations.

Srinivas has been associated with the Manipal Group for over a decade. Prior to taking on the role of Chief People Officer, he served as Vice President – Human Resources at MPi, where he played a critical role in driving 3X business growth strategies, developing global teams, and enabling leadership transformation initiatives. His leadership focus was on building high-performing teams aligned with MPi’s growth vision across continents.

Previously, Srinivas spent over 11 years at Manipal Technologies Limited, where he held several senior HR leadership positions including AVP – HR, AGM – HR, and Sr. Manager – HR Business Partner. He led strategic HR initiatives across various business units such as Secure Solutions, Smart Cards, EPC, and Digital Intouch Solutions, managing a workforce of over 4,000 employees. He played an instrumental role in strategic talent management, capability building, and aligning HR planning with business objectives.

Before joining the Manipal Group, Srinivas was associated with Writer Corporation for nearly 6 years, where he served as Business Partner – HR, South Region. He managed HR operations across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh, and was recognized for his contribution to employee relations, union negotiations, and establishing contract staffing systems that ensured business continuity.

Earlier in his career, he worked at Usha International Ltd as Senior Commercial Executive, where he handled a blend of commercial and HR responsibilities, including talent acquisition, compliance, and distributor management.

Srinivas holds an advanced credential in Human Resources Management for HR Leaders from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, strengthening his strategic HR capabilities with a global outlook.
