Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, January 2025 – Kyndryl has announced the appointment of Steve Daskalakis as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Australia and New Zealand. In this role, Steve will oversee marketing strategies, enhance brand visibility, and drive growth across Kyndryl’s operations in the region.
Steve joins Kyndryl with a wealth of experience spanning over two decades in strategic marketing, talent development, and leadership. Most recently, he served as Head of Growth and Marketing at ProSpend, where he led the company’s marketing transformation, focusing on driving growth in Australia and New Zealand for nine months.

Before ProSpend, Steve spent over four years at Workday as Director of Marketing, Australia and New Zealand, where he crafted innovative marketing strategies and led digital transformation efforts. His leadership significantly contributed to customer engagement and market expansion across the region.
Steve has also held pivotal roles at KPMG Australia as Associate Director, Marketing for Management Consulting, and at SAI Global, where he led Proposition and Product Marketing globally for Risk Management Software and Learning Platforms. His tenure at Telstra as General Manager of Content Marketing showcased his expertise in B2B marketing and product launches.
Earlier in his career, Steve had an extensive tenure at IBM, where he held various leadership positions, including Marketing and Offerings Management Executive and Marketing Manager for Industrial Sector & Natural Resources. During his 14+ years at IBM, Steve developed a strong foundation in integrated marketing strategies, partnerships, and multi-channel revenue generation.
