Norfolk, England, United Kingdom, February 2026 — RenEnergy UK has appointed Sue Pepperday as Head of People, marking a key leadership elevation within the fast-growing clean energy solutions provider.
Sue steps into the role after serving as Human Resources Business Partner at RenEnergy UK, where she supported the company’s people strategy during a critical growth phase. Her promotion reflects the organisation’s confidence in her ability to align HR strategy with business expansion and operational excellence.
Prior to joining RenEnergy UK, Sue served as HR Business Partner at The AST Group, partnering closely with leadership teams to deliver strategic people initiatives. She also held the role of HR Manager at UNITED CAPS, where she worked alongside directors and international HR teams to support business growth, deliver learning programmes including Government Apprenticeship Schemes, and drive high-performance team development.
Earlier in her career, Sue built extensive HR and leadership experience with organisations including Wilko, Serco, British Transport Police, and Hertfordshire Constabulary, developing deep expertise in talent management, employee engagement, early careers strategy, capability development, and workforce planning.
In her new role as Head of People, Sue will lead the people agenda at RenEnergy UK, focusing on building high-performing teams, strengthening organisational capability, and supporting the company’s mission to electrify change for businesses through sustainable energy solutions.
