Singapore, September 2025 — Sun Life has announced the appointment of Sujoy Ghosh as Chief Executive Officer of Sun Life High Net Worth, where he will lead the company’s global High Net Worth business. In his new role, he will focus on deepening partnerships, expanding capabilities, and reinforcing Sun Life’s leadership in the high net worth insurance market worldwide.
Before joining Sun Life, Sujoy spent nearly eight years at Citi, most recently serving as Managing Director, Global Head of Insurance for Citi Global Wealth and Asia Head of Business Development, driving growth and strategic partnerships across APAC and EMEA. He also held earlier roles at Citi including Head of Insurance for APAC and EMEA.
Previously, he served as Region Head of Partnerships at Allianz, where he was responsible for building and driving B2B and B2B2C businesses across Asia. Prior to that, he was Chief Sales Officer and Management Board Member at ING Turkey, and also led strategic planning and bancassurance initiatives across Asia Pacific, including ING Life Thailand.
Sujoy began his career with ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as VP & Head of Human Resources for Consumer Banking in India, before moving into leadership roles at Coca-Cola Enterprises, where he gained diverse experience in commercial operations and strategy. With over two decades of international experience across Asia, Europe, and global markets, he brings a proven track record in financial services, insurance, and strategic partnerships.
