Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, September 2025 – Sunanda Sahoo has been appointed as Vice President – Human Resources at Pocket FM, a Series D-stage audio entertainment company transforming the content landscape with its binge-worthy audio series platform. In this new leadership role, Sunanda will be responsible for scaling talent strategy, leadership development, and organizational culture to support Pocket FM’s next phase of hypergrowth across India and global markets.
Before joining Pocket FM, Sunanda Sahoo spent over four years at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., where she held dual roles. Most recently, she served as HR Head – Innerwear & Athleisure Business, leading HR transformation for a high-growth segment based in Bangalore. Prior to that, she was HR Head for Sabyasachi, one of India’s most iconic fashion houses, where she led the integration of people strategy with the brand’s creative and business vision in Kolkata.
Previously, Sunanda worked at Trafigura as HR Business Partner for nearly four years, driving strategic HR programs for the global commodity trading firm’s India operations. She also worked at Aon as Consultant – Talent & Performance, where she advised clients on organizational effectiveness, performance design, and transformation.
Earlier in her career, she served as Manager – Distribution HR at Bharti AXA Life Insurance, and spent over five years at Tata Motors, where she progressed from Assistant Manager – HR to Manager – Organization Effectiveness, focusing on culture, capability building, and large-scale workforce transformation across the automotive major.
Sunanda Sahoo holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (HR) from the prestigious Xavier Institute of Management (XIM Bhubaneswar), completed in 2010. Her academic foundation has supported a dynamic HR career spanning automotive, financial services, consulting, retail, fashion, and now the digital audio entertainment industry.
