Delhi, India, June 2024 – Sunniel Buttan has been appointed as the Vice President – Group HR at Alike. With a wealth of experience in human resources and strategic leadership, Sunniel brings a strong background in talent management and organizational development to his new role, aiming to drive impactful HR strategies and initiatives at Alike.
Sunniel Buttan joins Alike with a rich career in HR leadership across diverse industries. At Alike, he will focus on enhancing HR practices, building a strong organizational culture, and driving strategic HR initiatives.
Prior to this, Sunniel served as the Associate Director HR – Global Operations at TCG Digital for approximately 1 year and 3 months. In this role, he was instrumental in building strong relationships, developing talent strategies, and overseeing global HR operations, including employee learning and development, performance metrics, and compensation.
Before TCG Digital, Sunniel was the National HR Head at K Hospitality Corp for around 1 year and 9 months, where he managed workforce planning, budgeting, compensation, and labor relations across the organization. He also served as the HR Head – North at K Hospitality Corp for about 3 years and 5 months, where he focused on administration, workforce planning, and positive employee relations.
Sunniel’s extensive HR experience includes serving as a Principal Consultant at Marc Consulting for approximately 1 year and 3 months, and as a Senior HR Business Partner at KPMG for around 4 years and 1 month, where he specialized in employee learning and development and organizational development.
Earlier in his career, Sunniel held the position of Manager-HR at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for nearly 5 years and 10 months, where he was an HR Generalist and Global Mobility Specialist. He also worked at EY as an Executive HR for approximately 4 years, and at Andersen as a Staff for about 3 years.
