New Delhi, Delhi, India, April 2025 – Suruchi Ghai has been appointed as Vice President Human Resources at Ujala Cygnus, a healthcare leader delivering affordable, high-quality medical services across tier-2 and tier-3 cities in India. In her new role, Suruchi will lead the HR function, strengthening talent strategies to support Ujala Cygnus’ growth and commitment to ethical, high-tech healthcare.
Prior to joining Ujala Cygnus, Suruchi Ghai built a distinguished career at Fortis Healthcare, where she served for over 11 years. As Zonal Head HR for Fortis Escorts Heart Institute and other hospitals in the region, she led HR operations across hiring, performance management, training, compliance, and employee engagement, managing diverse teams of clinicians, paramedics, and support staff.
Before her zonal leadership role, she served as Head HR for Fortis Hospital Vasant Kunj and also held corporate positions as Head Compensation Benefits & HR Oracle Support (General Manager) and Deputy General Manager, where she led major HR technology transformations and countrywide compensation strategies.
Earlier in her career, Suruchi worked with Kale Consultants Ltd (now Accelya) as Manager – Human Resources, and began her HR journey with early stints at Ranbaxy Laboratories and Raymond India.
