Toronto, Ontario, Canada, February 2026 — Susan Goodyer has stepped into her new role as Chief Talent and Culture Officer at Manulife, marking an important leadership transition in the organization’s global people and culture strategy.
In her new position, Susan will lead Manulife’s global talent and culture agenda, shaping people strategy, strengthening leadership capability, and advancing a culture aligned with the company’s long-term growth and customer-focused mission. Her appointment underscores Manulife’s continued commitment to investing in talent excellence and organizational effectiveness.
Prior to joining Manulife, Susan spent over 27 years at Accenture, where she most recently served as Managing Director, Strategy & Consulting, Talent & Skills Lead. In this role, she focused on talent architecture, skills-based transformation, and enabling organizations to future-proof their workforce strategies.
Earlier at Accenture, she served as CHRO Accenture Canada, where she led the national HR strategy and coordinated end-to-end HR service delivery across the country. She also held the role of Global Director of Talent Intelligence, HR, driving global talent intelligence initiatives and advancing data-driven workforce strategies.
Her extensive experience across strategy, consulting, HR leadership, and talent intelligence positions her strongly to guide Manulife’s global talent and culture evolution.
