Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, August 2024 – Susan Knolla has stepped into her new role as Senior Director, Global People Partnerships at Turnitin, where she will be leading the global people partnership teams across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. In this capacity, Susan will focus on driving transformational operational results within a fully remote environment, ensuring world-class HR practices align with Turnitin’s strategic goals.
Before her promotion, Susan served as Senior Director Americas, People Partnerships at Turnitin for one year and one month. During this period, she brought world-class HR capabilities to support global strategic business-focused people practices across key areas such as Product, Technology, Global Marketing, and Revenue Operations.
Prior to joining Turnitin, Susan was the Head of People & Culture at reSolved for one year and eight months. In this role, she led the global human resources function, building a people-first culture and driving significant improvements in talent development, employee engagement, and organizational design.
Earlier in her career, Susan worked at J.D. Irving, Limited, where she held several key roles including People Analytics & Compensation Lead and Head of Talent Management. Over her nine years and one month tenure, she established a data-driven HR culture, engineered modern talent management strategies, and led people analytics and compensation centers of excellence.
Susan’s extensive experience also includes her role as North American Human Resources Leader at Sitel, where she managed a dispersed and diverse team of over 60 HR professionals, driving performance improvement and workforce management strategies for multi-million-dollar client accounts.
