Arizona, United States, July 2024 – Credit Union West is excited to announce that Susan Sirois has started a new position as Vice President of People. In this role, Susan will provide strategies and solutions to foster a people-centric culture that promotes empowerment, growth, inspiration, and a collaborative spirit. She will lead the strategic direction of people operations, developing solutions that promote a culture embodying company values, rewarding engagement, encouraging innovation, and caring about member advocacy and community outreach.
Susan Sirois joins Credit Union West from Lithia & Driveway, where she served as Senior Manager | Human Resources for 1 year. At the largest automotive retail establishment in the world, Susan was instrumental in project management, succession planning, cross-functional collaborations, and employee engagement, among other key HR functions.
Before Lithia & Driveway, Susan was Director, HR Project Management and Mergers & Acquisitions at American Water for nearly 4 years. Here, she led HR initiatives in project management, workforce planning, and mergers & acquisitions, supporting over 6,000 employees in delivering water and wastewater services to 14 million people.
Susan also served as Director, Business Operations and Human Resources at the Water Quality Association for 3 years, where she managed HR and business operations for the leading voice in the water treatment industry, representing over 2,500 manufacturers, suppliers, and dealers worldwide.
Her extensive experience includes a 5-year tenure as a Consultant, Talent Acquisition and Development at Executive Talent Solutions, focusing on HRIS, organizational performance, and strategic HR leadership. Additionally, she was Vice President, Human Resources & Organizational Development, North America at Merge Healthcare, an IBM Company, for 3 years, leading HR initiatives for a leading provider of radiology, cardiology, and cloud and AI solutions.
Susan began her career at Acro Service Corp as a Manager, Human Resources and Employee Relations for 4 years, where she integrated staffing and consulting services, laying the foundation for her distinguished career in HR.
