Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, January 2025 – Sushil Barkur has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD) at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited. In his new role, Sushil will lead Cadila’s learning and development strategies, drive organizational transformation, and foster a culture of continuous growth and innovation. With over two decades of extensive experience, he is poised to elevate Cadila’s L&OD initiatives to new heights.

Prior to Cadila, Sushil spent over 13 years at Alkem Laboratories Ltd., where he rose to the position of Associate Vice President – L&D, Talent Management, and OD. During his tenure, he drove cultural transformation, spearheaded leadership development programs, and established the Alkem Learning Academy. His efforts contributed to Alkem being recognized as a “Great Place to Work” for three consecutive years.

Before Alkem, Sushil held senior roles at Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited and Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd., where he managed training functions, developed talent management frameworks, and enhanced organizational performance through strategic initiatives. He also contributed to talent development at Nicholas Piramal India Limited, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, and Zydus, where he focused on field coaching and specialized training programs.
