Gurgaon, India, December 2024 – Susmita Khare has joined Encalm Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. as Group Head – HR & Training. In her new role, Susmita will lead the development and execution of HR and training strategies to foster organizational growth and elevate employee performance. She will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s culture and aligning HR practices with Encalm’s mission to redefine airport hospitality in India.
Susmita transitions to Encalm Hospitality after a remarkable 10-year tenure at Lite Bite Foods Pvt Ltd, where she held the position of Chief People Officer. During her time at Lite Bite Foods, Susmita drove large-scale cultural transformations, implemented strategic HR initiatives, and developed innovative workforce planning and training programs, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and employee engagement.
Previously, she served as a Communication & HR Consultant at SRM University, where she focused on delivering training programs in soft skills, mentoring, and team building for both faculty members and students.
Susmita also brings extensive experience from her six years as Manager – Human Resources at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, where she led HR functions at The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur, and The Oberoi, Bangalore. She specialized in talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee engagement, contributing to the success of these iconic hospitality brands.
Her HR journey began at PVR Limited as a Manager – Human Resources, where she managed HR operations and statutory compliance during the opening of multiple multiplexes across major cities in India. She also gained valuable experience in her earlier roles at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, where she contributed to HR operations for over six years in properties across Agra, Kochi, and Udaipur.
